Web Development Intern

Suggested Experience

As a web development intern, you’ll be joining our brood of Beta Babies. We take clean, elegant design seriously, so all applicants should have experience in Photoshop, WordPress, HTML, and CSS. Divi and Javascript experience would be killer but aren’t necessary. If you don’t have much professional experience or you’re self-taught, come in and impress us. At Evol, we’re more interested in people who show what they can do rather than telling us.

Job Requirements

This unpaid intern position requires 10-15 hours per week in the office working on website development for actual clients. Also required: positive attitude, working brain cells, general coolness. For the most part, web dev interns should be able to work independently. We love our coworkers, but the Evol office is always busy so interns should take full reign of their creative freedom and crush projects independently. You’ll work closely with Cam, our Web Development Creative Specialist. The only thing he’s better at than web design is single-handedly keeping the spirit of rock and roll alive through his guitar.

Move It or Lose It

Interview spots are filling up fast, so contact Andrew at andrew@evolempirecreative.com with your resume or a portfolio of your recent web design work if interested. Please also include a cover letter with a short description of yourself, any special skills you’d bring to Evol as an intern, and your favorite breakfast food.

Graphic Design Intern

Suggested Experience

You’ve got an eye for design and know your way around the Adobe Creative Suite. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator experience are key. A basic understanding of color, typography and design principles is a plus. Experience working with digital and print design is preferred. If you’re badass at branding, producing social media content, designing white papers, and creating visuals for anything else that gets thrown at you, Evol wants to meet you. Don’t quite fit this mold? Impress us. Convince the Evol team that you’re a good fit and we’ll give you a shot.

Job Requirements

This unpaid internship requires 10-15 hours a week. Flexible scheduling allows you to adjust your hours according to best fit your schedule. Fresh ideas to create jaw-dropping visuals are the main requirement. You must have a keen eye for detail and take great pride in your work. Topper, our senior graphic design director, will challenge you to sharpen your skills and try and keep up. To be successful at Evol, bring a can-do attitude and be willing to work as a team each day. Be ready to own new opportunities and fly solo. We want to guide you, not hold your hand.

Move It or Lose It

Show us your chops. Reach out to the Evol team via the form below. This may come as a surprise, but organization is going to be a major factor for this role. Be organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented. In short, be whatever it takes to stay on top of projects and keep the ball rolling. Ideally, the project management intern will have experience coordinating meetings, scheduling due dates, and assigning tasks for multiple clients and projects.

Job Requirements

We can’t stress this enough: the main job requirement is that you are organized. Seriously. If you like color-coded spreadsheets, we’re gonna like you. You’ll also work closely with our clients, so professionalism is crucial. This unpaid internship requires 10-15 hours per week in the office; you’ll choose times that work based on your schedule. We can work with people who don’t know everything; we can’t work with people who won’t try.

Job Requirements

This unpaid internship requires 10-15 hours per week at HQ with flexible scheduling. If you’re a creative, self-reliant person, Evol is the place for you. Interns may be asked to run targeted advertisements on social media, create advertisements based on analytics and customer insight, utilize Google AdWords, or research ideas for potential ad campaigns, so applicants should enjoy taking charge of tasks independently. Also, get acquainted with proper grammar and spelling as that’s key at Evol. Marketing interns will work closely with our Social Media/Marketing Manager Dan. He’s a music producer, a Keto enthusiast (look it up), and his flannel game is second only to Davey, our CMO. Davey, also a musician, will appreciate it if you show him new, rad music to put in his queue.

Move It or Lose It

Apply by submitting a resume and a portfolio of recent work to Davey at davey@evolempirecreative.com. The only rules for submissions: show us the sh*t you’ve made that you’re most stoked about. Also, bonus points if you bring Dan an avocado on interview day.

Suggested Experience

A strong background in accurate, grammatically correct writing is a must. PR interns should have an understanding of media relations, in addition to other facets of public relations.
